The widely popular The Nissan Qashqai has won a prestigious Which? consumer affairs organization’s annual reliability poll.
Based on feedback from 50,000 UK drivers, the British-built crossover received a coveted five-star reliability rating from expert reviewers who praised the vehicle’s use, durability, and attractiveness to families.
According to Andrew Humberstone, general director of Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd., reliability is frequently the top feature people look for when buying any of our vehicles.
“For everyone at Nissan who works to ensure the dependability of every car we supply, to have an endorsement in this area from an independent and rigorous organization such as Which? – not to mention 50,000 consumers – is a nice pat on the back.
The survey’s outcome is the icing on the cake for Nissan because the Qashqai, which was made in Sunderland, was the best-selling new vehicle in the UK in 2022.
Alan Johnson, Vice President of Manufacturing at Nissan Sunderland Plant, added: “We are proud to build the Qashqai and absolutely delighted to see its continuing success with customers.
“It’s hugely satisfying to know that we manufacture not just the UK’s favourite car, but also its most reliable.
“This award is a true testament to the hard work, dedication and expertise of our 6,000-strong team here in Sunderland, as well as our excellent supply chain partners.”
