Countdown begins with the launch of Polestar 3

Polestar has declared that October 2022 would mark the global debut of its next vehicle, the Polestar 3 electric performance SUV.

The car will join the current Polestar 2 five-door fastback in the lineup as the Swedish electric performance car company’s first SUV.

Polestar 3 is expected to have a goal range of around 373 miles and a dual-motor powertrain with a big battery.

Accompanying the first unveiled picture of the automobile is confirmation of its global debut.

Polestar 3 will be produced in China and the United States, with production scheduled to start in early 2023.

“The SUV of the electric era is the Polestar 3. According to Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath, “Our design identity evolves with this high-end large luxury EV, with a strong, individual brand character.”

“By sticking to our performance roots, we bring the’sport’ back to the SUV with this car.”

“Our company has reached a significant milestone that accelerates our growth trajectory and ushers in a new phase.”

Beginning with Polestar 3, Polestar intends to introduce a new vehicle annually for the following three years. By the end of 2023, the company hopes to have expanded to at least thirty worldwide markets.

Additionally, by the end of 2025, it hopes to have increased its worldwide sales tenfold from around 29,000 in 2021 to about 290,000.
