The Ambernath Plant of CEAT Specialty received the Sword of Honour from the British Safety Council. The company, an Off-Highway (OHT) tire branch of CEAT Tires, was honored with the Sword of Honour award, which is given to enterprises globally in recognition of their outstanding management of workplace health and safety hazards. According to the business, its plant in Ambernath is at the vanguard of this production procedure.
To be eligible to compete for the Sword of Honour, an organization has to receive the highest grade of five stars in the British Safety Council’s health and safety management audit procedure. Qualified candidates could apply from August 1, 2022, until July 31, 2023. Furthermore, the business demonstrated to an unbiased panel of experts that it has achieved the greatest levels of health and safety management possible everywhere, from the executive suite to the shop floor.
This year also saw the debut of a brand-new Shield of Honour Award, which is meant for businesses that excel at managing the well-being of their employees.
